I don’t know about you guys, but for me our stint in the yard at NNSY proved to be, for the most part, pretty much boring, albeit be sparked with highlights of the extremely mundane. I was assigned the undesirable position of Ship’s Pharmacist when Curt Blankenship reenlisted for orders off the ship. It got so bad at one point that I broke out the camera and started taking pictures of all those malingerers who disturbed me from my duly appointed nap time. I believe I asked everyone to make a face or at least “do something”. Some got it - some didn’t - but that’s okay. Of course, one motivation for me doing this may well have been the cute girl at the Fotomat Drive Thru. Remember those? And I apologize for the crappy photo quality. These pics have spent all this time in a paper bag up in the attic which can’t have been good for them -- my bad. Enjoy.
