All we learned thus far is that Master Sergeant Scheer died on 19 January, 2008 in his hometown of Omaha Nebraska.
Carl was a Nassau plankowner and reported aboard as a Master Sergeant in the Executive Department and served in a logistics capacity for combat cargo operations.
